Swiss notification requirements

Under the Swiss Financial Market Infrastructure Act we disclose shareholders that reach, exceed or fall below the thresholds of 3%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 33.33%, 50% or 66.66% of the voting rights.

An additional disclosure requirement exists under the Swiss Federal Code of Obligations to disclose shareholders and their shareholdings if they hold more than 3% of all voting rights. This must be made once a year in the annual report.

In its latest quarterly financial report, Investor AB, Sweden, disclosed that as per December 31, 2022, it owned 265,385,142 ABB Ltd shares and controlled 13.5 percent of the voting rights in ABB Ltd.
